So I recently wrote this foe someone and now I want to suggest you the same.
Depression is perhaps one of the most contentious topics. Antidepressants might work for some people. The research on their efficacy is contentious. However, some experiences are valid. If they work for you, please keep that belief. Take anti-depressants for a good sleep can be addictive. This statement is based on my experiences and lessons learned. My mother has been on anti-depressants for over 30 years (since the time i was born) and is one of the most pessimistic, depressed and lethargic person i know. It's sad really. Now, she's physiologically dependent on drugs. I chose to quit after 4 months of taking these due to what I'd seen and partly, because i took medicines for epilepsy between 10–15 years of age and had had enough of drugs. I couldn't sleep at night. I was restless and anxious. So, in all, it's individual choice and biochemistry. But relying solely on medicines for getting out of depression and insomnia issues might not be the best idea. I was suggested Medical Marijuana as a treatment option , and I followed that. https://mdberry.com/medical-marijuana-for-neurological-disorders/. I found this while my research and I feel like it had helped me a lot more than anti-depressants drugs. We guys are confused between myths and misconceptions of Medical marijuana. But we never knows what is best for us. It's an advice NOT a fact because as human beings, we cannot be solely explained by science, there would always be something unknown to be discovered.
There is no single way to get out of depression. One needs to understand that everyone gets depressed at some point in life. And everyone can recover.
