I would like to argue in court that Narcissism should be considered a factor when determining a parent's competency. The problem is that courts do not consider Narcissism a factor, nor are South African psychologists very well educated on the disorder and its diagnosis. So I'm trying to decide which route will be less harmful to my child: Lifelong narcissistic abuse or custody battles to free him from narcissism. Thus my question is, should narcissists be primary caregivers? What are the long-term effects on children being raised in a narcissistic environment? Is narcissistic abuse more or less harmful than physical abuse? Thank you kindly
